The New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, launched in 2020, promotes sustainable and inclusive transformations in Europe's built environment, fostering a collaborative vision for a beautiful, sustainable future.

The European commission revealed the 2024 NEB Prizes, marking the fourth consecutive year of the event funded by the Cohesion Policy. Celebrating sustainability, inclusivity, and aesthetics, the prizes honour exceptional projects embodying the ideals of the European Green Deal.

Awarded across four categories, the laureates include both established ventures and promising initiatives competing in two different strands. Special recognition was given to reconstruction efforts in Ukraine, alongside a focus on regions tackling socio-economic challenges.

The winning projects span diverse areas such as nature conservation, community empowerment, and circular economy.

Each recipient receives up to €30,000 and support for project development or replication.
