I have visited several public buildings in EU-countries but very few of them have posted the energy cerificate visiby. Could you share your experience with a photograpph. How it is done in practise?
In Finland there are no national requirements of this.

Are energy certificates really posted in public buildings?
It is my experience that in England & Wales the answer is "Yes, they are".
In Bristol City Council all our 170 buildings (the majority being schools) that legally require Display Energy Certificates have them displayed in frames supplied by the Energy Management Unit - who carried out the survey work and calculation of the DECs - to the Building Managers who are responsible for ensuring they are on display.
Other public buildings in the city not connected with the local authority also have their DECs on prominent display e.g. the Arnolfini Art Gallery and the City of Bristol College.
On a recent visit to Cardiff I saw the DEC of The Wales Millennium Centre also prominently displayed in the entrance foyer. I can only presume that as with Bristol, Cardiffs other public buildings have had their DECs calculated and displayed as per the legislational requirements.
