Abstract | Citigroup’s new 230,000-square-foot Data Center in Frankfurt is the first data center in the world to achieve LEED Platinum certification. The building was designed by Arup Associates.
Lessons learnt | The most radical green innovations occur on the inside: the Citi Data Center will require only 30 percent of the power required for services that a typical data center would utilize, and only 40 percent of the heating energy.
