Finnish official building code D3 on Ventilation and indoor climate approved in December 2008. It describes in detail target values of indoor climate and ventilation rates as well as technical details how to design and build an energy efficient ventilation system. This part D3 of the Finnish building code is included in the revision of codes to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. It includes for example the requirements of heat recovery from ventilation air.
