ETICS – External thermal insulation composite systems
Do you know the fuel consumption of your car? You probably know the answer to this question right away. But what about the consumption of heating oil, gas or electricity in your house?
External thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) make an essential contribution to energy savings in buildings and thus help ensure compliance with the Energy Per-formance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
The aim of this community is to exchange information on:
- Technical variations and innovations in the field of ETICS
- Quality criteria for ETICS application
- Marketing measures and lobbying on behalf of ETICS
ETICS serve the purpose of insulation: both against the cold and against heat, as is the case in the southern regions of Europe where ETICS can be used to keep rooms nice and cool.
The ETICS community discuss practical examples of the use of ETICS across Europe, the savings potential offered by ETICS and options of architectural design. The community addresses architects, planners, energy consultants, investors and ap-plicators.
