This community’s goal is to provide its members with cutting-edge information on several aspects related to the process of harmonization of sustainability metrics for the assessment of the impact the built environment has on the environment. Several initiatives at the European level have been putted in place to enable an understanding and use of metrics that can be used to monitor and compare internationally ecological behaviour and sustainable performance. Furthermore, this community will provide an opportunity to connect experts, regulators, and professionals and facilitate dialogue on the sustainability measurement of the built environment through discussion on topics such as Standardization (CEN TC 350, ISO TC59 SC 17, etc.), International initiatives (EU Ecolabel, SBC-Index, SBA Core system, WGBC PTF, etc.) and regulations (Eco-design Directive, EPBD Recast, etc.). This Community is facilitated by the Sustainable Building Alliance.
