The Report "Understanding user needs" is an analytic report based on a survey of 1500+ participants from Bulgaria, Poland and Portugal.   The iBRoad project aims to eliminate barriers to deep renovation by developing an Individual Building Renovation Roadmap for single-family houses. The tool provides a customised renovation plan over a long-term period (10-20 years), which considers the occupants’ needs and specific situations.

Are you planning to renovate a building? Would you like to combine energy efficiency improvements with architectural additions? The EU-funded ABRACADABRA project has developed 3 decision support tools for this purpose which you can test for free. Case study buildings should either have planned energy renovations or have already undergone renovations. Tools and analytical methods developed by the project team will be applied to each case study building, providing valuable technical, financial and regulatory outcomes to aid the decision-making process.

The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) introduced Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) with the aim to create more transparency about the energy performance of individual buildings. To date, the implementation of this instrument varies significantly across Europe in terms of scope, information, comparability and user-friendliness, limiting its acceptance by users as well as its market penetration.

Στις 7 Δεκεμβρίου 2017, στο πλαίσιο της δέσμης μέτρων για τις παραβιάσεις του Δεκεμβρίου, η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή ανακοίνωσε ότι έχει στείλει προειδοποιητικές επιστολές με τις οποίες ζητεί από την Ελλάδα και τη Μάλτα να διασφαλίσουν την ορθή εφαρμογή της οδηγίας για την ενεργειακή απόδοση των κτιρίων (οδηγία 2010/31 / ΕΕ) .

Το Εργαλείο Οικονομικής Αξιολόγησης (CERtuS SE²T) αναπτύχθηκε στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος CERtuS . Είναι ένα φιλικό στη χρήση του και κατατοπιστικό εργαλείο πάνω σε ζητήματα χρηματοδότησης, το οποίο απευθύνεται κυρίως στις αρχές τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης καθώς επίσης και σε ιδιοκτήτες κτιρίων οι οποίοι επιθυμούν να ανακαινίσουν ενεργειακά το κτίριό τους εκ βαθέων, προκειμένου αυτά να χαρακτηριστούν κτίρια σχεδόν μηδενικής ενεργειακής κατανάλωσης (ΣΜΕΚ).

The Simplified Economic Evaluation Tool (CERtuS SE²T) has been developed under the CERtuS Project. It is a user-friendly and informative tool on financing issues, addressed principally to Municipalities but also to building owners that wish to implement a deep energy renovation on their buildings, in order for the latter to become nZEB. The CERtuS SE²T tool is used in the initial stages of a building retrofit project in order to evaluate the project's financial sustainability.
