The green tax deduction of Denmark involves home energy renovation works and can be applied for rental housing and home ownership.    Deduction for energy renovation involves 12,000 DKK annually per. person. If for example two adults and a child over 18 live in the household, a deduction of 36,000 DKK can be claimed.    To find out more about the deduction plan please click here.

Energy companies are required to help reduce the Danish energy consumption. In this frame interested parties can seek advice if they need help in performing energy saving works in their home or if they need to receive funding for the implementation of these works.   Works eligible for funding include:   insulation of exterior walls and roof; replacement of windows; conversion to more energy-efficient forms of heating.   An extended list of energy renovation works can be found in the following directory:
