This report, released by the Institute of Environmental Economics-Efficient Poland Initiative (IEE-EP) focuses on investment needs among owners of single-family buildings (SFBs).
The report summarises a survey research performed in 2017 among owners of single-family Houses, and was inspired by the declaration of Polish Government that it will develop a national programme supporting thermal-modernisation of SFBs. The document provides answers to issues related to the structure of the programme to be developed.

Punktem wyjścia do ich zorganizowania były wnioski z marcowego spotkania (pt. Czy pakiet KE ‘Czysta energia dla wszystkich Europejczyków’ pomoże w walce ze smogiem w Polsce?). Jego uczestnicy zauważyli, że skutecznie działający system świadectw może być narzędziem służącym poprawie efektywności energetycznej budynków. The Interreg Europe REBUS project (Renovation for Energy efficient BUildingS) aims to improve the capacity of public authorities in European regions to undertake efficient renovation works of their public building stock, thus saving energy and public resources. The huge potential for energy savings in the public building stock is hampered in each phase of the local authority energy renovation process: planning, implementing and monitoring. The 6th Smart City Forum, which will take place on 20-21 September 2017 in Warsaw, Poland, is the response to the global transformation taking place in the field of construction and functioning of cities and towns that are becoming smart, notwithstanding their level of development. Integrative energy planning of urban areas: Collective learning for improved governance
URBAN LEARNING is a Horizon 2020 project that gathers cities to exchange and work on improving governance structures for integrative urban energy planning. The project aims to mainstream and institutionalise integrative urban energy planning within city administrations and is designed as project from cities for cities. The focus is on the governance processes related to the (re-) development of urban sites.

iBROAD, the new Horizon 2020 project aiming to explore, design, develop and demonstrate the concept of individual Building Renovation ROADmaps, kicked off on 3-4 July 2017 in Athens, Greece.
These building renovation roadmaps will serve as a tool outlining deep step-by-step renovation plans with customised recommendations for individual buildings (iBROAD-Plan), combined with a repository of building-related information (logbook, iBROAD- Log).
