Are you planning to renovate a building? Would you like to combine energy efficiency improvements with architectural additions? The EU-funded ABRACADABRA project has developed 3 decision support tools for this purpose which you can test for free.
Case study buildings should either have planned energy renovations or have already undergone renovations. Tools and analytical methods developed by the project team will be applied to each case study building, providing valuable technical, financial and regulatory outcomes to aid the decision-making process.

BuildHeat is quickly leaving its research phase by moving towards the validation and the demonstration phase of the solution packages developed for the three project demo sites.
This step was marked in Madrid at the end of February 2018. The innovation partners of the project gathered for a two days’ progress meeting at Acciona premises where they had series of plenary discussions and reporting sessions regarding its project achievements.

The UHI Project is implemented through the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The main target of this transnational project is the development of mitigation, risk prevention and management strategies to counteract the urban heat island (UHI) phenomenon. Mitigation strategies consist in the adoption of urban and land planning models that prevent the establishment of UHI. On the other hand, adaptation strategies aim at reducing the impact of UHI related phenomena, such as summer bioclimatic discomfort.

Decision Support System (DSS) is a software developed within the context of the UHI (Urban Heat Island) project, implemented through the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It is a simplified database management tool that can be used by an end user interested in the implementation of mitigation measures for counteracting the urban heat island phenomenon.
