Climate.OneBuilding.Org is e repository of free climate data for building performance simulation.   The website contains typical, single-year climate data files in EPW format from many publicly available data sets from around the world. The weather data on the site are derived from a number of public sources.

The aim of this report is to present the results of the first part of the ECCoPro consultation process: October 2017 to January 2018. The first part of the report describes how a framework for holistic energy efficiency training of building professionals could operate. The second part presents an attempt to define key energy efficiency skills for each group of building professionals.

  Transitional spaces are meant as “a space in between indoor and outdoor climate, or between two indoor environments, which thermal characteristics can be or not modified by mechanical control system and where occupant may experience the dynamic effect of this change”. Nowadays, transitional spaces are pivotal in non-residential architecture and the proportion of such areas may vary between 10% up to 40% of the total volume depending on the typology. Mixed-mode buildings are desings with by both active and passive systems.

The Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) launched The Carbon-Free Regions Handbook: An Action Guide for States, Provinces, and Regional Governments in collaboration with The Climate Group, as secretariat to the Under2 Coalition. Designed to place states and regions on an actionable path towards low-carbon economies, the handbook includes significant contributions from the Under2 Coalition and features many of the successful policies being implemented by the governments in the coalition.
