On Tuesday 19 December 2017, the Estonian presidency reached a provisional agreement with the European Parliament on a revised directive on the energy performance of buildings. The outcome of the trilogue will be presented to EU ambassadors on December 20, with the final analysis and approval of the agreement expected to take place at the beginning of 2018.

This training will explain how to undertake inspections in complex buildings according to the Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections)(England and Wales) Regulations 2007 and refer to CIBSE TM44: Inspection of Air Conditioning Systems and the Occupational Standard. Those who have completed the training and are accredited by CIBSE will be able to undertake such inspections.    Those trained and subsequently accredited by CIBSE Certification will be able to carry out inspections of both complex and simple system.
