La quinta edición del Congreso Edificios Inteligentes se celebrará el día 14 de mayo 2019 en la sede del COAM, Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid.   Contenido y Temáticas El Congreso aborda el concepto de Edificio Inteligente desde un punto de vista integral y multidisciplinar. Estarán presentes temas muy variados, como técnicos, normativos y oportunidades de negocio, contemplando soluciones tanto para la Nueva Edificación como para la Rehabilitación.

The BIMzeED project focuses on the training needs for the current and future construction industry with the main purpose to encourage 1) better employability 2) low-carbon growth, 3) green and nZEB skills 4) increase in youth employment. The challenge of the BIMzeED project is to overcome skills mismatching and improve employability in the current European construction market by improving and extending the existing skills of Trainers, SMEs, site managers, craftworkers and other experienced operatives.

BIM4REN is a European funded research project involving 23 European partners. Its general objective is to help improving the low productivity rate of the European construction sector in the market segment of energy renovation. By innovating and allowing every kind of construction actor to easily use novel and adequate BIM based digital tools, the project aims to overcome current barriers in culture, knowledge, tradition, affordability and opportunity that hinder the access to the digital revolution.

In January 2019 the European Commission published the third report on energy prices and costs in Europe. Published every two years, this most recent report finds that wholesale energy prices have fallen in recent years due to increasing competition on wholesale markets from greater amounts of renewable energy, improved interconnections and a more integrated internal electricity market.
