Keep your cool and achieve optimal summer comfort for your Passivhaus project, by accessing our on-demand training on avoiding overheating risks.   The Passivhaus standard addresses summer overheating, with the stringent criterion which requires that internal temperatures do not exceed 25ºC for more than 10% of the year. However, changing weather, variations in occupant behaviour and assumptions made during modelling can potentially increase the risk of overheating.

However, this standard is clearly and unambiguously defined: The Passive House Institute has formulated the criteria for Passive Houses for different building tasks (e.g. residential buildings, office- educational buildings).

procuRE launched the first out of three phases towards reaching its goal to develop innovative solutions to achieve 100% Renewable Energy Supply in existing public buildings.   The six procurers from Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Israel, and Turkey selected three innovative Renovation Approaches which will be designed in the next three months.
