This report, released by the International Energy Agency (IEA), provides a global outlook for energy and air pollution as well as detailed profiles of key countries and regions: the United States, Mexico, the European Union, the People’s Republic of China, India, Southeast Asia and Africa. The document is based on new data for pollutant emissions in 2015 and projections to 2040.

On June 28, 2016, the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) launched a new project aiming to ensure that all buildings are “net zero” by 2050.   The project involves eight green building councils from Australia, Brazil, Canada, German, India, the Netherlands, South Africa and Sweden initially, and Architecture 2030 as lead partner to provide technical expertise.

The International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC) is an autonomous international forum that provides global leadership on energy efficiency by facilitating government implementation of policies and programmes to yield energy efficient gains.   IPEEC is dedicated to facilitating rapid deployment of clean energy technologies worldwide and promoting information exchange on best practices to facilitate initiatives that improve energy efficiency.
