Step Into Innovation is a unique opportunity for creative and imaginative young people who want to step into the arena of professional green buildings innovation. The four days course aims to build bridges between innovators and companies that commercialize ideas with a sustainable economy, and thereby boost innovation that can reduce climate change. The course provides basic knowledge about climate context and the need for innovation, just as you will be equipped with fundamental skills in areas such as Idea and Concept Generation, Innovation Management, System Changes, Intellectual Property Protection, International and European legislation on Climate Change, Business and Canvas Models to create new innovative solutions though delegate ideation workshops and practical training. Course objectives

Candidates will learn about challenges in existing building refurbishments for improving energy consumption, energy efficiency and reduction of material depletion by material reuse, as well as gain new knowledge about creating green and resilient cities. Participants will get an insight about national and European legislation for solving those challenges and obtain technical knowledge, including the latest innovations focused on reaching the goals.

 

All this objectives will be based on an ideation process, like design thinking, for combining new knowledge and professional skills, to acquire new methods to reinforce partakers innovative processes.
