The Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) promotes on-site energy consultancy in residential buildings (on-site consulting) in the form of a grant to cover some of the expenses of the advisor. The aim of the fund is to trigger investments in the private sector, reduce the energy consumption, environmental pollution and CO2 emissions of residential buildings.
The beneficiaries of on-site consulting include:
- natural persons;
- legally independent commercial enterprises, including housing associations and businesses in the agricultural sector;
- legal persons and other entities pursuing profit, charitable or religious purposes.
