This course is part of the EUCert programme of the European Heat Pump Association. The EUCERT programme aims at training and educating heat pump installers throughout Europe. The goal is to not only mark quality products but also promote a qualified workforce, since even an extremely well-running heat pump can lose a lot of its efficiency if not properly installed. The Slovak Association for Cooling and Air-Conditioning (SZ CHKT) offers accredited heat pump installer training in accordance with EHPA standards

This scheme is now closed.   This course is part of the EUCert programme of the European Heat Pump Association.   Under the umbrella of EUCERT consortium, the German Heat Pump Association (BWP) developed a 40-hour course, the contents of which include heat pump technology and investment planning, heating engineering, building physics, geological expertise and introduction in renewable energy.

Finland is part of the European EUCERT heat pump installers certification system.   Training according to EUCERT includes written and practical examination with focus on heat pump technology, but it also has elements of marketing concepts, electrical safety, energy efficiency and environmental impact related to heat pumps.   More information can be found at: http://www.ehpa.org/european-certified-hp-installer/

This report from the French Program RAGE 2012 provides the results of a technological survey operated in July 2012 by CETIAT about innovative HVAC systems for buildings. It covers: hybrid systems (heat pump + boiler), micro-CHP, very low output modulating boilers, decentralised balanced ventilation systems with heat recovery, low pressure hybrid ventilation systems, ground source heat exchangers, high temperature heat pumps, domestic hot water heat pumps with roll-bond evaporators, solar absorption cooling systems, compact multifunctional appliances.
