The Guild of Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning Craft Berlin carried out from November 2008 to October 2010 is an EU project in the innovation field of renewable energies.Together with European partners from Bulgaria, Poland and Germany the model of further training “Specialist in renewable energies and technologies in sanitary, heating and air conditioning craft” was developed and tested during four pilot seminars.

In the last European Energy Service Award (EESA) 2010, the President of International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) David Cadman, emphasised the importance of energy efficiency for the future in cities and municipalities. Thus, the increase of energy efficiency highly depends on companies that provide, promote and implement high quality energy services and building owners who pave the way with innovative projects.The best energy service projects and companies from 2011 will be chosen by an international jury of experts.
