IMPULSE introduces an integrated support system concerning energy upgrading projects for Public Buildings.
The Project is coordinated by the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES) and is implemented in the context of the European Programme Interreg MED 2014-2020 with the co-funding of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In Greece, the Project’s pilot implementation is realised by the Municipality of Heraklion through the Department of European Programmes, while the Regional Development Fund of Crete (RDFC) is an associated partner.

The Efficient Buildings & Renewable Energy MED Community Conference is organized in the framework of the Interreg MED Programme.
The conference will take place in Ljubljana (Slovenia) the 18th and 19th of October. It will host the partners of all Interreg MED Modular Projects from two Thematic Communities: Efficient Buildings Community and Renewable Energy Community.

Since 2016 EuroAccess has been a central online information point on EU funding opportunities in the Danube region. Over the time it has proven to be a success, therefore, a decision to extend the website to all four EU macro-regional strategies – the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region, the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region, the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region and the EU Strategy for the Danube Region – has been taken.
The updated online platform, covering all four EU macro-regional strategies, was launched on 25th June 2018.

The Interreg MED 2014-2020 Programme supports the sharing of experiences, knowledge and the improvement of public policies between national, regional and local authorities and other territorial stakeholders from 10 different EU countries and 3 candidate countries. Its innovative architecture is designed to better respond to the needs of project stakeholders, ensuring three levels of impact: - local (“modular projects”) - thematic communities (“horizontal projects”) - common Mediterranean vision (“governance”).
