The energy balance and planning tool for efficient buildings and refurbishments
The PHPP is an easy to use planning tool for energy efficiency for the use of architects and planning experts. The reliability of the calculation results and ease of use of this planning tool has already been experienced by several thousand users.

Sulgrave Gardens comprises 30 family homes in four blocks with a mix of typologies (houses, apartments and maisonettes) and tenures (9 homes for affordable rent, 13 for shared ownership and 8 private houses) in a conservation area in West London. At the time of certification, Sulgrave Gardens was the largest Passivhaus development in London. The scheme is arranged in four blocks. Two are Passivhaus certified and two designed to Passivhaus principles.

This project was contracted by Viladecans municipality based on the results of a previous study of the capacity of Deep renovation of three schools contracted previously by Area Metropolitana de Barcelona.

The new guidance addresses the importance of certification, what the compliance process entails, and the benefits it brings to successful low energy building projects.

The performance of Passivhaus in new construction: Post occupancy evaluation of certified Passivhaus dwellings in the UK: Early Results
This paper published by the Passivhaus Trust, the UK Passive House Organisation, analyses the performance of a number of certified Passivhaus dwellings in the UK. The research is focused on certified new-build Passivhaus homes, both single dwellings and multi residential.

This course, which will be realised from 6 to 14 November 2017 in Darmstadt, Germany, is aimed at all building professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors and builders, who are interested in training in the field of energy-efficient & cost-optimal buildings designing. During the course, they will learn from experts at the Passive House Institute, everything from how to define the thermal envelope to how to overcome frequent planning and construction challenges. The course consists of a 3-day e-learning module and 7 days of in-class training.

In view of the international climate objectives, providing both affordable and energy efficient living space has become a challenging task for cities and communities. Solutions for solving this dilemma will be discussed at the 22nd International Passive House Conference which will take place on 9 and 10 March 2018 in Munich, Germany.
