Das neue Forschungsportal der Forschungsinitiative ENERGIEWENDEBAUEN ist seit April 2017 online. Mit der neugestalteten Forschungsinitiative bündelt das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) seine langjährigen Fördermaßnahmen Energieoptimiertes Bauen (EnOB), Energieeffiziente Stadt (EnEff:Stadt) und Energieeffiziente Wärme- und Kältenetze (EnEff:Wärme) sowie die Forschung zu thermischen Energiespeichern und der Niedertemperatur-Solarthermie und fasst sie unter einem Dach zusammen.

Interreg Europe provides assistance to three types of beneficiaries, based in one the 28 EU Member States, Switzerland or Norway:   public authorities; managing authorities/intermediate bodies; agencies, research institutes, thematic and non-profit organisations. Interreg Europe builds on its forerunner, INTERREG IVC (2007-2013) and aims to get maximum return from the EUR 359 million financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for 2014-2020.

The Executive Committee of the International Energy Agency Energy in Buildings and Communities programme (IEA EBC) approved the “IEA-EBC Annex 74: Energy Endeavour” in 2016. The project will run until 2021. The project is intended to serve as a know-how platform linking the experiences worldwide and working towards further improvement of existing competitions, as well as developing new competition formats.   The project objectives are to:

Der bundesdeutsche Treffpunkt für das jährliche Update zum Thema Energiewende   Als Leitveranstaltung der Energiewende in Deutschland bieten die ENERGIETAGE einen einmaligen Überblick über die aktuellen politischen, wirtschaftlichen und technischen Entwicklungen. Die über 50 Fachveranstaltungen mit rund 300 Referentinnen und Referenten richten sich an Entscheider aus Politik, Verwaltung, Verbänden, an Experten aus der Energie- und Wohnungswirtschaft oder öffentliche Einrichtungen sowie an Architekten, Ingenieure und Consultants.

A range of breakthrough eco-building solutions which tackle the emerging problem of indoor air quality have been presented by the ECO-SEE project at the Ecobuild construction fair in London.   The solutions include novel insulation, coating and panel products which improve air quality by passively regulating humidity, capturing VOCs, and removing indoor organic pollutants through photocatalysis. External and internal wall panels have also been developed, in addition to design tools to support end users.
