New and Revised Building Energy Renovation Investment Tools released by the Investor Confidence Project Europe - Now Available for Review

Share this Post:

Investor Confidence Project (ICP) Europe is developing a suite of building energy renovation roadmaps - Energy Performance Protocols - that aim to reduce transaction costs by assembling existing standards and practices into a consistent and transparent process. These tools then enable a marketplace for building owners, project developers, utilities, public programmes and investors to trade in standardised energy efficiency projects.

The following Protocols are now available for Public comment and review at http://europe.eeperformance.org/protocols-under-development.html

These include:

·  First draft Targeted Tertiary and Targeted Apartment Blocks Building Energy Performance Protocols, which are to be used for renovation projects that contain only one or a limited set of energy conservation measures, without major interaction between them. Comments on these first drafts are being accepted until Friday 6th November.

·  Second draft Large Tertiary and Standard Tertiary Building Energy Performance Protocols, which are designed to guide project teams and investors on commercial and institutional whole-building energy renovations. Comments on these second drafts are being accepted until Friday 6th November.

All four of these Protocols are to be presented via webinar at the ICP Technical Forum on Thursday 29th October.  Registration for this webinar can be found at http://europe.eeperformance.org/technical-forum.html
