Registration for the IEE European Info Day (Brussels, 3 February) is open

Your next chance to have your project supported by the EU's Intelligent Energy - Europe programme is close: The next call for proposals will be published in spring 2010. Applying for IEE funding is a competitive process, and the contracts will be awarded only to the best project proposals. Attending the European IEE Info Day 2010 will help you develop a good proposal and increase your chances to apply successfully. You will also have opportunity to find project partners from across Europe.
Languages: Presentations will be given in English. There will be simultaneous translation into French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish.

Date: 3 February 2010

Place: Charlemagne Building of the European Commission, Rue de la Loi 170, Brussels, Belgium.

Registration: For security reasons you must register in advance to be able to attend this event. Registration is only possible on-line on: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/fmi/scic/IEE2010/start.php

You cannot attend the Info Day? The morning session will be broadcast live on the internet. The details will be published 1 week prior to the event.Video recordings with sound and integrated slide presentations will be made available online after the event.

Getting there: The IEE European Info Day 2010 takes place in the Charlemagne Building of the European Commission, Rue de la Loi 170, Brussels.

  • From the Airport: take the N° 12 ‘Airport Express’ Bus and get off at ‘Schuman’. Alternatively take the train to Brussels and get off at ‘Gare Central’ then take the Metro to ‘Schuman’. Finally, you can take a taxi (approximately € 25 one way).
  • By Metro: Take Line 1A or 1B and get off at 'Schuman'
  • By regional train: The train station ‘Schuman’ is close to the venue.

Costs: Participation at this event is free of charge. The organiser cannot cover your travel nor accommodation expenses.

Accommodation: You will need to make your own arrangements. Lists of hotels in Brussels are provided e.g. on www.brussels-hotels.com or www.resotel.eu. We advise you to book your hotel early!
