The EU Urban Innovative Actions (UIA) initiative has just published the topics for its upcoming third call for proposals.
In the third call for proposals, which will be launched in December 2017, interested candidates will be able to develop and submit projects under the four following topics:
During the European Week of Regions and Cities, held on 9-12 October 2017, the winners of the UIA's second call for proposals were announced. 16 cities were selected under three topics: circular economy, urban mobility and integration of migrants and refugees. Over half of the successful projects came from Covenant of Mayors signatory cities, which were Antwerp & Ghent (Belgium), Heraklion (Greece), Lappeenranta & Lahti (Finland), Ljubljana & Maribor (Slovenia), Albertslund (Denmark) and Toulouse (France).
