The house in this case study was upgraded in 2009 as part of the SERVE project. It is situated in Nenagh Town. The house is a 125m2 three story dwelling in a two dwelling building. It is built with reference to the 1997 building regulations, and is typical of many buildings built in Ireland over the last 20 years. The upgrades include : wall insulation attic insulation heating : boiler, domestic hot water controls, space heating controls, wood burning stove The energy perfomance went from a C2 to a B2.
