Handling of alternative cooling techniques

This report is part of the work carried out for the IEE SAVE ASIEPI project. Its aim is to evaluate the extent to which alternative cooling techniques are covered by the procedures used by the Member States and the way this is done. In the context of this report, alternative cooling techniques are considered to be the cooling techniques that improve summer comfort substantially, without (or in a very limited manner) increasing energy consumption and which in general do not rely on the vapour compression refrigeration cycle. In order to assist in this report, information collected by means of a questionnaire from 9 Member States was used.
