  The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. Today, ISHRAE has more than 12,000 HVAC&R professionals as members and additionally there are 7,500 Student-members.   ISHRAE operates from 41 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with headquarters in Delhi. It is led by a team of elected officers, who are members of the Society, working on a voluntary basis, and collectively called the Board of Governors.

Heat Roadmap Europe (HRE) added major new features to its energy planning tool, the perfect basis for European governments, businesses, consultants, academics, and planners to make informed decisions about investments in energy efficiency measures and use of untapped alternative energy sources for heating and cooling. The tool will also support the implementation of European climate commitments, ensure wiser investment of public money, reduce costs for consumers, and cut carbon emissions and energy consumption.

The "EUREKA 2017: Heating, Cooling & Ventilation: Sustainable technologies for a better life" will take place on 11-12 December in Berlin, Germany.   For the second year in a row, the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE) and the European Ventilation Industry Association (EVIA) will host a high-level conference bringing together NGOs, academia, decision-makers, and industry professionals across the HVAC-R value chain to brainstorm, build bridges, and positively impact our daily environment.

This report is part of Task 5 within the California Energy Commission (CEC) EPIC project (EPIC-14- 009) Optimizing Radiant Systems for Energy Efficiency and Comfort managed through the Centre for the Built Environment at UC Berkeley. The main goal of this research was to determine the building characteristics of projects with radiant heating and cooling and assess their real world energy use compared to standard benchmarks for building energy performance.
