In the current economic situation, the architect plays a very important role that could give a specific response to the crisis and environmental problems by favoring a more sustainable social development. In this context it is important that architects devote their efforts to thinking about eco-efficient constructions, to using materials and technologies that respect the environment and to using available natural resources efficiently.
These conferences are addressed to researchers, graduate students, engineers, architects, and other students interested in energy efficiency and sustainability in architecture and planning fields.
The purpose of these conferences is to exploit the produced synergy from the intervention of speakers and participants with different profiles to analyze and to propose solutions to the current problems.
