Organiser | Tampere University of Technology
The Department of Civil Engineering at Tampere University of Technology invites research scientists, students, practitioners, lecturers and other interested parties to the 9th Nordic Symposium on Building Physics. The Symposium will be held in Tampere on 29 May – 2 June 2011. Participants are welcome with or without a written contribution. Papers will be peer reviewed.
The objective of the symposium is to provide a forum for the above mentioned groups to network and to exchange results of research and development. The first Nordic Symposium on Building Physics was held in Lund, Sweden in 1987. The 9th symposium is the second to be held in Finland and the first in Tampere.
Symposium Topics
The symposium topics consist of research results on
• Hygrothermal performance of buildings and
constructions
• Building material properties
• Building envelope systems
• Air-tightness and air movement
• Energy efficiency
• Low energy and passive energy buildings
• Effects of climate change
• Moisture and mould problems and their
repair techniques
