A two-day low-cost conference organized by the Romania, Poland and
Hungary GBCs
with a focus on the CEE region – to explore the improving business case
for eco-efficient design and sustainable construction in an environment
of rising energy prices, more stringent building codes, newly available
technology and growing environmental concern. Build Green CEE will
bring together visionary investors, real estate developers,
construction companies, architects, engineers, technology and service
providers, building management companies, real estate agencies,
students and professors, Green Building Councils representatives, NGOs,
media and public authorities eager to explore and benefit from the
opportunities of building green.
The Central East European region will account for the majority of new
construction in Europe and will require extensive energy efficient
retrofits of its existing built environment. Build Green CEE: Energy
Efficient and Ecological Design for the Region will explore the
improving business case for eco-efficient design and sustainable
construction in an environment of rising energy prices, more stringent
building codes, newly available technology and growing environmental
concern.
