One of the goals of the IEE SAVE ASIEPI project is to investigate how the Member States handle the assessment of innovative systems.
Important remark: in the context of EPB regulations, and in particular in the context of ASIEPI WP6, innovative systems are defined as:
- systems which most probably give a better performance in terms of the energy performance of buildings than the usual systems and,
- whose performance cannot be assessed by the standard EPB calculation methods.
According to this definition, some systems may be innovative in some countries and not in other ones.
This third ASIEPI web event will make an overview of the approaches in place in different Member States for the assessment of such innovative systems.
