Designed to accommodate a family of four, Greenome is a house with three bedrooms, having 151.86 square meters, located on an area of ​​1500 square meters, together with a NGO office building (Greenitiative), founded by project's owners. Although located in the metropolitan area of Bucharest, close to the  Brancovan Palace, an 18th century cultural center, the project is in the middle of a rather rural neighborhood, with orchards, beehives and pastures. This location inspired the owners to begin an experiment in green building and green living. Currently, the construction of the building is almost done (next is to make the building energeticaly independent by installing solar panels to power the heat pump), while the green life will be possible after several years when we will get home-made fruit and vegetables, we will work from home, we compost, we collect and separate waste.
