The Architects' Council of Europe (ACE) is the European organisation representing the architectural profession. Its growing membership consists of the nationally representative regulatory and professional organisations of all European Union (EU) Member States, Accession States, Switzerland and Norway. Through them, it represents the interests of about 480,000 architects and it seeks to influence all areas of EU policy and legislation that have an impact on architectural practice and on the overall quality and sustainability of the built environment.

ARCHI-EUROPE is a network of over 182.000 European registered architect members covering over 30 European countries. COGEN Europe is the European Trade Association for the Promotion of Cogeneration. COGEN Europe’s Membership includes around 100 power companies, power authorities, national cogeneration associations, suppliers, and other organisations involved in cogeneration in 30 countries. EAE is the European Association for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems. It is a confederation of 13 national ETICS associations with 129 companies and an annual ETICS market of some 130 million m². The purpose of EAE is to promote the use of tried-and-tested external thermal insulation composite systems in old and new buildings throughout Europe. Its tasks include communicating the advantages of ETICS, and promoting a system approach as well as high standards of process quality.

The European Builders Confederation - E.B.C. - is a European professional organisation representing national associations of Craftsmen and SMEs working in the construction sector. The European Solar Shading Organization (ES-SO) is an umbrella body representing the European solar shading and roller shutter industry, mainly through its national trade associations. ES-SO’s members employ more than 400,000 people, mainly in small and medium sized companies that are active on the local market within the European Union. ES-SO’s objectives are to provide a permanent point of contact between its members and the European authorities and to demonstrate that solar shading can make a substantial contribution to energy savings in buildings. The European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) represents the interests of construction enterprises, regardless of size, across Europe. GLASS FOR EUROPE is the trade association for Europe’s manufacturers of flat glass. Flat glass goes into a variety of end-products such as windows and façades for houses and buildings. Glass products are essential to energy-efficient buildings, houses and transport. Windows containing high-performance glass, such as low-e insulating glass and solar-control glass, help reduce energy consumption. A better use of building glass alone could help reduce Europe’s CO2 emissions by 100 million tonnes annually.
