One of the objectives of BIMplement’s project is to create a new generation of professionals and craftsmen, qualified to deliver high quality nZEB-projects by using technical, cross-trade and BIM skills and competences.   To this end, training sessions will be carried out in 50 construction sites located in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland and Lithuania.

Developments in modern building concepts, such as sustainable low-energy consuming buildings, buildings with lightweight materials and open plan working environments, as well as the need to build in extremely noisy areas, require involvement of acoustic experts in order to successfully (re)design buildings without negatively impacting upon people’s health and well-being.

Buildings are responsible for 40% of energy consumption and 36% of CO2 emissions in the EU. The residential sector represents 75% of the European building stock and, on average, more than 34% of CO2 emissions on cities’ territories. This sector is therefore a key action area for all local and regional authorities who are committed to ambitious energy and CO2 saving targets.
