The Housing Department prepares and implements government policy in housing, construction and struggle against precariousness and exclusion.Among the tasks assigned to it, the main ones are:
- Elaboration and implementation of rules on social housing, access to housing, rental relations, aid to housing, rehabilitation of housing
- Elaboration and implementation of policies for housing quality and habitat and their integration into the urban fabric, design and implementation of rules relating to construction.
- Elaboration and implementation of policy for housing of people suffering exclusion, particularly with the introduction of the Right to housing.
