The Mediterranean Association of National Agencies of Energy Conservation – MEDENER – brings
together 12 organizations from both shores of the Mediterranean in charge of energy efficiency and
renewable energy development policies. Founded in 1997 as an international non-profit organization, it
aims at exchanging experiences, know-how and “best practices.” The Development of synergies between
its members allows for strengthening the regional partnership on issues of energy conservation specific
to the Mediterranean.
