A decree of the Walloon Government, adopted 3 December 2009 and published in the Belgian Official Gazette on December 22, 2009, requires the certification of existing residential buildings by approved actors: the certifiers and training centres.
For their accreditation potential certifiers will, according to their profile, attend training organized by approved training centres spread over the territory of the Walloon Region and, in some cases pass an oral and written exam.
