The energy performance of an existing house can be calculated much easier, according to Dutch Minister Spies. “Meer met Minder” together with Raak Software Applicaties has developed a program called: "Energielabel Light”. This method is reliable in 90% of the cases, states Chris Bruijnes, director of the national program of energy saving “Meer met Minder”. The methodology involves merging 200 parameters essential for the calculation into 12 `easy to characterize´ parameters .
