- Kick-off on 13 September 2012 in Frankfurt
- Free advisory service and information on KfW promotional offers
"As a promoter of the energy turnaround we want to make on-site visits and draw attention to the possibilities for increasing energy efficiency in the home. By providing comprehensive individual advice on the technical implementation and promotional possibilities we will encounter some home-owners hesitancy towards renovation," said Dr Axel Nawrath, member of KfW's Executive Board.
"KfW at your doorstep" will not only provide a central point for advice. The tour will also set up and display energy efficiency measures promoted by KfW (insulating walls, ventilation system etc), allowing visitors to experience them first-hand. In this way visitors can look at and touch the energy-saving materials, such as insulation. An independent energy consultant will be available to answer technical questions.
The first stop will be from 13 - 15 September 2012 in the Roßmarkt in Frankfurt am Main. From 4 - 6 October the house will be located in the Riem Arcaden in Munich. This year's last stop is on the Kronprinzplatz in Stuttgart from 11 - 13 October. Next year the tour will continue in other German cities.
