Habitat League of Romania is an non-profit federation of home owners and tenant associations. Taking into account the the social and economical difficult background of Romania (especially after the communist period), our organisations is  providing counselling on paths of association and sustainable development of local communities. We have a wide range of cooperation projects with the central and local administrative authorities (different ministries, city and town halls, police departments, housing services' regulation agencies and providers). Most of all we are trying to promote the relations between the citizens and the official authorities based upon equal principle.

I am the President of the this NGO since 2003 (elected by the representatives of 35 county branches). I'm in charge with the representation of this League in the relations with internal and international institutions or organisations (Association of Energy Specialists of Romania, Romanian Committee of the World Committee of Energy, Interministerial Committee for Market and Services, Trade and Industry Chamber of Romania, consultative committees formed by the regulation authorities, International Union of Tenants, UN-CEE).

I cooperated with the World Bank, USAID, UNDP for providing information and assessment on housing situation in my country. I was project managers for several programmes financed through Phare grant schemes, Matra, Soros and I've organised training courses on condominium management within the National Institute for Administration (courses attended by the actual and future condominium managers).
