Ann represents the solar shading industry at a European level. She is convinced that the pressure for more energy- efficient energy buildings calls for various technical solutions to be shared. More and more, European level will be decisive - CPBD, CEN-standards, CPR- regulation on constryuction products. etc. This all requires more in-depth collaboration with the professional sector at a European level.  The recently established Technical and Marketing Committees within ES-SO ensure to have a better interaction on regulation, training and studies within the sector. ES-SO will also further strengthen and develop its cooperation with European organizations representing related techniques. Being a partner in the Build-Up Webportal gives the opportunity to communicate with other stakeholders representing energy efficient technologies in buildings. Ann is convinced that solar shading has great potential  as sustainable solution for energy-efficient and healthy comfort in housing and non-residential buildings.
