Building on the experiences of pioneer cities involved in large scale energy efficiency projects, the conference will bring together urban planners, local policy makers, researchers, entrepreneurs and energy efficiency experts to discuss effective approaches and solutions to energy efficient urban planning and renovation.
Intent on delivering enabling knowledge to potential replicators, the conference will focus on sharing lessons learnt and practical case studies on the following key topics:
- Technologies for affordable housing
- Financing instruments and business models
- Integrated planning
- Citizen engagement
Going beyond the EU-GUGLE project, speakers will include representatives from public authorities, professional organisations and other European smart cities initiatives.
