The objective of the European project "BOILeff" is to improve the quality of boiler installations by developing a quality declaration and a performance declaration. The quality declaration confirms that the installer includes a set of quality criteria for boiler installations in the offer for the customer. By the performance declaration the installer guarantees high energy efficiencies of the boiler, which depends on the high quality installation of the heating system. Both instruments get evaluated by field tests within the project.
