IEU-Modernisierungskompass
This study sponsored by the German organisation "Initiative Erdgas pro Umwelt", which promotes an efficient and environment-friendly use of natural gas, is a comparative assessment of different energy savings measures in existing residential buildings in the German context.
Energy savings measures and the related investment costs are analysed for three typical residential buildings according to CO2 emissions reduction, energy savings (primary and end-used) and annual energy cost savings.
The energy-savings measures considered are thermal insulation and changing of heat generator, by installing gas or oil condensing boiler, wood pellets boiler or air to water heat pump.
