Impact of Energy Certificates on energy savings in existing buildings in the Member States (EPBD Article 7)
This study aims at gaining better understanding of the impact of implementing the energy certificates for existing buildings. A survey amongst experts in Member States has been carried out to gather information on the known or expected impact of energy certificates on the increased adoption of energy saving measures in existing buildings. This study focuses on the identification and content of the recommendations and on providing an evaluation of their success in the uptake of energy efficiency.
