Information paper for the EN ISO standard on energy use for heating and cooling (EN ISO 13790)
This paper gives a short introduction to the international standard EN ISO 13790 for calculating the energy use for space heating and cooling. It contains explanations of the background of the standard (including the cooperation between CEN and ISO), the general structure of the standard and the calculation methods, with details on the input and output data and links to the other CEN standards. Common questions are answererd in the FAQ section (chapter 10). The standard was published in March 2008.
