Applying the EPBD to improve the energy performance requirements to existing buildings - ENPER-EXIST - WP1 - Investigation of alternatives

The aim of WP1 of Enper-Exist European project is to identify the gaps between EPBD CEN standards and practice for existing buildings. This report sums up various problems in the calculations described by CEN standards and gives possible solutions, learned from existing national methods. CEN standards on ventilation, lighting, heating systems and hot water systems are considered.
