This article proposes the use of intelligent metering devices that are connected to a common information system. In this way, the main energy resources - water and electricity are monitored. Information from their indications is sent to the web portal, accessible via username and password.
Thus, users can monitor their energy use and make decisions to change their energy behaviour. This way the so-called smart system for energy management and monitoring of the energy consumption in households is built. The system is designed to assist in making management decisions to reduce energy consumption in residential buildings. In the present article data is used from the project BECA (Balanced European Conservation Approach - ICT services for resource saving in social housing).
