The EnergySavingCheck 3.0 is a calculation tool developed to estimate a household’s energy and water consumption and savings. It was first introduced by Caritasverband Frankfurt e.V, Germany for the EU-funded project ACHIEVE and it is based on the calculation tool of the Cariteam Energiesparservice.  Later, it was appropriately adjusted by the Energy Agency of Plovdiv, Bulgaria and the Focus Association for Sustainable Development, Slovenia for the needs and purposes of the REACH project, another EU-funded project.

Training of Photovoltaic Installers     The high photovoltaic market growth rates, further favoured by the EU supporting policies and the favourable national regulatory frameworks, may cause some concern to the PV industry due to the lack of adequately skilled workforce for PV installation and maintenance. Furthermore, the interested parties (manufacturers, developers, investors) seek skills certification and quality assurance in all phases of a PV installation (design, installation and maintenance).

The Compass project wants to contribute to building fair, social and environmentally sustainable societies through the development of a new professional curricula and a training course in the field of ecological conversion of public spaces. The project, based in 5 european countries (Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Croatia and Romania), includes activities of context analysis, dialogue with stakeholders, professional training and development of collaborative project ideas with local authorities to enhance participative and ecological conversion processes throughout Europe.
